Each savings or loan account has its own two-digit identifier. The numbers for the most frequently used account types are:
- Savings/Shares: 01
- Savings/Quarter Plus: 03
- Savings/Vacation: 11
- Christmas Club: 02
- Checking: 10, 20, 25, 30
- IRA: 70
- Certificates (CD's): 50, 51, etc.
- Loans: 01, 02, 03, etc.
